Congratulations Graduates!!!!!!!!

The Austin International Church of Christ would like to congratulate all of our 2008 graduating seniors. We are very grateful for your tireless service in the campus ministry here in Austin. You have served God faithfully through your college years and we wish you good luck with your future endeavors wherever God may take you.

This years graduating class includes :

Alex Hammond (Political Science)
Alex was converted in the teen ministry in Houston, TX. He attended St. Edwards University all four years. Alex served as a bible talk leader and worked on several political campaigns while attending St. Edwards University. He is looking forward to a career in politics.

Jacob Holloway (Biology)
Jacob was baptized his junior year at the University of Texas. While studying biology at UT, Jacob served as president of Alpha Omega campus ministry. Jacob will begin working on his masters at the University of North Texas this summer. Jacobs' ultimate goal is to become a doctor and serve Gods' Kingdom through the medical field.

John Onuminya (Masters in Petroleum Engineering)
John, who is originally from Nigeria, moved to Texas from California where he completed his bachelors degree. John was baptized as a first year masters student. John worked as a teachers assistant and has been an encouraging and sacrificial disciple throughout his time in the Alpha Omega ministry.

Susan Balsom (Spanish)
Susan was baptized in the teen ministry in Chicago and transferred to UT from the University of Texas at Arlington. Susan helped lead a bible talk and has been a great example of a servant. Susan has accepted a position with Hope Worldwide and wants to spend her life serving the less fortunate.

Ben Boreland (Advertising)
Ben was baptized at the beginning of his freshman year. Throughout the last five years he has served as a bible talk leader, Thousand Oaks Youth Camp counselor, and led the Texas State Ministry his senior year. Ben was called to go into the full-time ministry and will be moving to Dallas to lead the teen ministry there this summer.

Lucy Ozanne (Speech and Communication Disorders)
Lucy was baptized in the teen ministry in Little Rock, Arkansas. She helped start the ministry at Texas State University and has served faithfully alongside her husband, Ben, as a shepherding couple for the students there. Lucy and Ben are moving to Dallas where she will begin working on her masters degree and he will begin Chiropractor school.
