Texas Tech Mission Trip: Update!!!!!!!!!!
On March 8th, the fifteen members of the Alpha Omega - Austin campus ministry set off for Lubbock, Texas to start a campus ministry at Texas Tech University. The ministry witnessed some amazing miracles over the three day trip that included having 25 bible studies in a two day period, seeing a new brother (Tim McClellan) baptized after two days of studying the bible, and having seven visitors at the midweek church service! A month has passed by since the Spring Break mission trip and God has continued to work powerfully at Texas Tech. Tim McClellan immediatly brought a friend out to bible talk who not only is studying the bible but is bringing visitors regularly and now considers the LICOC as her church home. In addition to this, four of the men who began studying the bible over Spring Break are still studying and coming out on a weekly basis. But perhaps the most encouraging news of all came this past Sunday April 13th when JC was baptized into Christ becoming the 2nd disciple in the Texas Tech campus ministry!
As encouraging as it was to see God perform the miracles he has performed over the last month in Lubbock it was just as encouraging to stay with the Lubbock disciples. Their hearts are so amazing and they served us with all their hearts. They are to be commended for their sincere devotion to God and their continued devotion to carry on the mission in Lubbock, Texas. Alpha Omega campus ministry wants to take this time out to extend our appreciation to the Lubbock ICOC. We love you guys!!!!
